How It All Got Started
for the Rossi’s
Kensington Carpet & Furniture in
Chicago, IL.
This is where it all started. Located at 122 E. Kensington in the Roseland neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, Tom’s grandparents, Hank and Ida Rossi, ran their carpet and furniture business from 1934 until 1969.
Across from Old Moose Lodge, near St. Antony’s Church. Tom’s dad continued the carpet business, while Tom’s uncle continued the furniture side of things.
In 1969, the Rossi family business moved to 14239 Halsted in Riverdale, IL where they remained until 1987 when the building was sold.

In 1987, Tom’s dad moved the carpet company to Orland Park, IL and Tom moved to Las Vegas.
